In 2012 while living in Italy, Giorgio and his close friend Cary Decker stumbled into Halston: Abbigliamento Maschile, a high-end menswear boutique, and met soon-to-be friend and mentor, Antonio Rossi. Giorgio always had an interest in fashion, even starting his own streetwear brand in high school and interning for other brands and boutiques, but growing up as a broke Chicano in Texas there didn’t seem to be a realistic possibility in pursuing a future in luxury menswear. Antonio opened the door, teaching Giorgio about tailoring and helping him develop the Neapolitan Sprezzatura style. He’d spend the next 5 years going back and forth between living in Italy and all over the U.S.A. as a menswear and branding consultant for other brands and boutiques, attending fashion week and Pitti Uomo he’d meet and become friends with some of the biggest names in the industry. In 2017 he started The 91 Artists and also cofounded Giorgio Verdi with Ronnie Green, another friend he met in Italy in 2011.

Now Giorgio has consulted for brands big and small, from artisan Italian tiemakers to Google. He has designed and made suits for pro athletes, award-winning musicians, and elite businessmen. He and his work have been featured in US Weekly, People Magazine, Plano Profile, Modern Luxury, Lufthansa Magazine, and more.

Giorgio’s permanent home is a small apartment in the Fuorigrotta neighborhood of Naples, Italy but he spends a lot of time in his hometown of Dallas as well as in New York City, and Salt Lake City. He uses his platform to answer menswear questions and has been a micro-influencer for brands such as Topo-Chico, Google, Lyft, Peroni, and more.
